Ok, just thought I'd have a little spot here for anyone interested in running some Friday Night Basketball after NBA 2K9 is released. I know eventually we will get to doing our leagues again but in the meantime, let's try out the 5 on 5 play and show the world what DigitalSportsLeagues is made of =) . It really sucks that this 5 on 5 is not working correctly among other server issues. Sometimes you can make create a match other times you can't. The best game I had online was when me and TDanza played against Ralph and Pappi. Too bad we couldn't talk to them. It played pretty smooth and maybe hiccuped once or so. Other than that it played good. It was a blast trying to guard Pappi (Billups) and the battles Curry (TDanza) had with Ralph (Sheed). If these dang servers would work ...

Has anyone tried this yet? I think it looks good....but it just doesn't feel right. I was in the practice mode and tried dunking the ball. I move to the basket and pressed the button. Sometimes he would dunk, other times he would layup. It wasn't consistent. Shouldn't I get a similar shot if I take off from the same spot on the court? Why would he sometimes layup, sometimes fadeaway? The practice stadium looked cool, but that was about it. They really need to up the controls ...

I just want to voice my opinion on the draft league and suggest that we notch up the games a bit since there now appears to be a serious amount of people joining. Here's my logic, the easiest way to knock out games it seems is when you go against the same opponent twice in a row. You are already matched up so you play your next game just about every time whenever that's the case.
