DSL 1 YEAR ANNIV. - FUND RAISER - TEXAS HOLD EM TOURNAMENT

Greetings DSL Members,

Our 1 year anniversary is coming up in March and I had an idea regarding helping us to continue and pay for our name: www.digitalsportsleagues.com. I wanted to see if this may interest any of our community members at this time. I was thinking along the lines of a Texas Hold Em Tournament. The cost will be $10 to join. We will play a friendly tournament of Texas Hold Em via the Xbox Live Arcade game. Then we can give cash prizes (or XBL Points or XBL Gold Memberships) minus the fee that I pay for our name (which is about $10-15 a year). Please let me know your thoughts on this. To me it sounds like a good time, hopefully you guys would enjoy it as well. Please give me your thoughts on this.

To me the best method would be to send me a check or Money Order to me. I do have Paypal but them biatches take a cut so I really do not want to use them.

In case you guys are scared I'll run away with your $10, you guys should know me by now, I'm not about to run away with your cash after we've been gaming together for a year. (Plus TDanza420 works with me and Toran360's dad does, I've met twelveralph as well, so it's not like I can run away anywhere, jajaja)

Depending how many people are down, I can then decide how much the prizes will be. We can have a first and second prize. I just called godaddy.com and the cost is $10 for the 1 year renew. =)

Just spoke with Macka regarding this and he looks to be joining as well. He said he'd check out our DSL 2008 Kickoff with him and his girlfriend so it looks like he'd be in that and we'd only need about 3 more people to start it.
