YOUR NEW DSL CHAMPION IS........

Papi Joe and the HOUSTON ROCKETS. The series went 5 games but the better team came out on top in a dominating performance in game 5. Yao and Mcgrady were too much for the undersized Jazz. This is Papi Joes first DSL CHAMPIONSHIP. STEELCITY is becoming the Atlanta Braves of DSL going to 3 straight finals and only coming out with one championship.

DSL CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY:

Season 1: server crash
Season 2: Cano over Steelcity
Tourny: Precise over GD
Season 3: Steelcity over GD
Season 4: Papi Joe over Steelcity

That is what I recall but not sure correct me if im wrong on the history.

Dang, I think my Championship against Precise on a league was forgotten. Not sure if it was a draft or what. Precise, I thought I beat you for one, I could be wrong though....Cause I thought I beat you, then you beat me for the Tourny... My memory could be off... It could have been in a playoff not sure though..

YES! March Madness should be redone!! We can get this done again in March! What do you guys think? Lowest record chooses team 1st and 2nd lowest, etc etc... 1 game do or die... as usual. 8 min quarters...what are your thoughts people?

YES AD. Not sure if you were in DSL yet. We had a Tourney bracket on NBA 2K7 where we all played each other 1 game, if you win, you advance. We can do it again on 2k8 this time. We can use our records to determine who gets 1st pick of teams...then RANK each of us according to the final Standings. I know how to change the brackets so we match up accordingly.

Worst record has a shot at picking their team first, while best record has to take whoever is left...so it should be interesting!! =)

GD hows about we just throw all the names in a hat and pick them out to see who picks first team. The Current LG is seperate so we shouldn't mix them up you know. Also this way how ever the bracket is set up we play it out like in the real NCAA thou that thing is fixed lol

Also while its on my mind will the people we keep in our "keeper League" also be ours in 2K9?

Precise does GD speak the truth about the forgotten championship. I think he might be right as I remember I lost in one playoff series to GD when he had KG and I had LBJ. So it could look like this:

Season 1: Server crash
Season 2: GD over Precise
Tourney 1: Precise over GD
Season 3: Cano over Steelcity
Season 4: Steelcity over GD
Season 5: Papi Joe over Steelcity

As for the new tourney I say we do a random team selection. DSL draft lottery and everyone is invited to the party.

Yeah Steel, I think you got that right regarding the Championship. I have yet to create our "Hall of Fame", good you guys put this down so I can create it soon. Precise, please confirm or deny the "rumor" heehee

Regarding the picking of teams, the lottery may be a good thing! "DSL March Madness Lottery" I may have some people join up who missed this season.

TD, by the time 2K9 comes we will have a seperate league. I say we do the next as a keeper and see how it goes, I don't think we should do another keeper league since the draft does take a lot of time and planning after this one. I foresee a tough time getting a night everyone can be there since this is what it's going to take in order to get it done. But we will try!

While i was playin Maniacjay we was talkin bout how we are almost at a full league, just 8 more teams and we there. What used to be 8-12 teams is now 22........DANG son you all grown up now jajaja
