if Isaih was still running the show....i bet he would have went after Arenas this offseason.

Another guy who's team plays better without him and would have mortgaed our future = Isaih's favorite type of player.

I am all about the bulls trading for Gilbert - dude can flat out light it up......when healthy thou. He is only 26 and has the knees of a 36 yr old

no man, he is a ball hog who takes low percentage shots....if he were like Kobe, or D-wade then another story....

I would rather want a ball hog that wants to shoot then have what the bulls got. Deng dissapears in the 4th - Gordon can't handle the pressure - Hinrich just plain out sucks hahaha

Thats how i would want to run the team, get Mike D'Antoni to run these guys like he does in PHX and you will see a totally different ball club next year.

The Bulls couldn't play Suns ball...you need a Nash or TJ Ford, not an Arenas so perhaps Kirk would be a better fit though he would never be a Nash. Thomas and Noah would be the only other good fits and if maybe one could develop a three point shot then it would be a great combo. Gordon could be a Barbosa type, Tyrus could eventually turn into an Amare as they have very similar skill sets and athletic ability but I don't see Thomas ever developing a 15 foot jumper like Amare's got. Deng is probably the worst fit since he doesn't stretch the floor for the pick and roll high post attack to be effective. Deng would have to go for a guy like Rashard Lewis or he would need to come into camp with three point range. You would still need a Marion type of guy so maybe bring in AK-47? He would thrive in a D'Antoni setup.

Sorry but the Raptors are a much better fit and they got Coangelo who brought Mike to the Suns way back when. I see the Bulls hiring Avery. That roster really needs someone to crack the whip.

I am all for D'Antoni as i think he would be the best fit, I would love to see Gilbert in Chicago but agree he is not the type of player needed to run his system. He does need a fast tempo PG that is pass first then shot. Perhaps Kurt can be that guy, the current O they try to run was not fitting him at all. Bulls are a young team that does not have great D but they play good team D. Hinrich/Nocioni might be their best lock down guys. With a team this young there is no choice but to run. Let Tyrus show off his ability and run the floor - Noah would be in a simular system that he was while at FLorida and would prob see his numbers increase as well. I still think the roster needs a big overhaul but getting the coach is step one. Building a team that fits his style would be step 2. Step 3 would be to have them both gel together and Dominate jajaja
