Pirates had the worst mangement in baseball for about 15 years and the new gm is only 1 for 3 in new deals as he gave Sanchez a big contract 4.1 mil(in Pirate terms) he sucks now and Snell also got a long term deal and he has had a horrible season. But if the Pirates had 150 more million to spend we could finally get above .500.

Im predicting Pirates with the worse starters in the lg. take 2 out of 3 and im willing to put some DSL$ on it.

first and foremost, I would like to address this issue with Jeter being voted as the most overrarted. I find it funny how another survey when MLB players were asked who would you start and team with….I think Jeter was voted #1 and Arod #2…kinda hypocritical, no?

As for those numbers all I can say is....Arod missed about 3 weeks ( you can add about 6 homers and 20 RBIs to his total), Abreu is a second half player, and well Jeter is struggling a bit, but that dude is all about the intangibles.

with that being said however, Yanks always struggle against teams they should beat, i wouldn't be surprised if they lost 2/3.

a few years back SI had a player poll. Jeter was voted the best player or most clutch can't recall but in the same issue the players did vote him the most over rated. I mean for a guy who steps it up when it matters (ala M.J) its hard to say he is over rated. Why the hell was he backing up the pitcher against OAK in the play were he flipped the ball to Posada and got Steroid Giambi (Jeremy not Jason) out at home...........

Over paid.....well yeah cause it seems everyone in sports (except Hockey) is over paid to play a game.
