THE FREAK could be traded

Im liking Chris Paul more and more every game so im thinking about trading Staudimire for another PF that I can keep instead with a lower rating.

Chris Paul is a 91 so I need a PF or C with a rating of 92 or less for him. If the right deal comes along the FREAK could be yours.

Danza im interested in THE FREAK for Paul Gasol if I cant get Kobe.

Then I can have Chris Paul and Paul Gasol and write it like this:

Chris Paul Gasol or CPG if you will i like that, can do alot of marketing with that my friend.......I may have to withdrawl from the Kobe race depending on what it will cost in the long run.........Freak for Gasol, we may have a deal unless i can get Nash for Gasol. But you are leading the race for Gasol if you should fail to get Kobe

I also might be pulling out of the Kobe sweepstakes as he is rated a 98 and I couldnt even keep Howard 86 with him.

Basically it comes down to would I want Chris Paul Gasol or

The FREAK and J. Howard.

Tru but you would only need to worry about that next league if its still a keeper league - Your two have to be under 182 but any trades that are made don't happen till after the draft so are not included. But you would still have Howard plus who ever is going to be traded for Kobe junno?

Also you will have a better pick then me so if you want to swap 3rd round selections ill do the Gasol deal. So I give THE FREAK 95 and my 3rd for Gasol and your 3rd.

I would have to do the deal before the draft so I can keep Paul and have the two pauls as my protected players.

So the clock is on you Danza I cant wait till after the draft as the only reason I would keep Paul is if I could get Gasol. If not the FREAK stays.

Well based on the rules i don't think that is a legal transaction. It is my understanding that trades will not be taking place till after the draft and that we must stay within the point limit prior to the draft......attention now turns back to KB jajaja

I think it is good Danza. Becaue we are trading the rights and my two keepers will be Gasol and Paul which comes under the point limit. Yours will then be THE FREAK and whatever bum from the Bricks.

Trades can be agreed to in the offseason. Just know that you will need to figure out a way to protect your players that has to be within the rules. There is no such thing as a trade that is not within rules, however what is considered protected is subject to ruling. Just make sure you have two players that add up to 183 or less, and the difference is tradebait or yours to keep. Just specify it as a "player to be named later," and then conduct a second transaction to keep the rosters even. You can do that or you can work it out as a three player swap where they get the protection rights to one more of your players assuming that it fits within the guidelines that have been spelled out.

I see where your coming from but since Gasol ended the season on my team I think his points are still counted towards my total. The trade would take place next season so IMO Gasol plus who ever else i keep would need to be under 182 and you would need to Keep Amare + anyone.........That is how i thought the rule would work, cause the trade dealine has passed so no trades can really be made till next season and we have to make our selections as to who we are keeping this season

For referring to a player from the team that gave you 50% of your loses as "whatever bum" i think all trade talks will be put on hold jajaja

Danza after the season you can trade whoever you want just as long as the players you protect come in under 183. So you can make as many trades as you want as you are now in the offseason phase and trades do take place in the offseason.

Which is why im offering such a good deal now before the draft because I want to keep Paul and not lose the FREAK without getting something in return. If we cant get a deal done The FREAK will stay in Cleveland or whatever blessed city I decide to manage.

Steel has it. That is exactly how this will work. You get the offseason to make trades just like they do in the actual NBA thus enhancing the sim experience right down to the general management of your team aspect.

Rashard Lewis is an 89 so the max i could keep with him is 93.......the freak is 95 so i will need to decline the deal

You could trade Lewis and Gasol for Howard and Amare.
