Remix........March Madness

With March just around the corner and all that fun stuff why not see if Precise can repeat and defend his March Madness title.

Simple idea = simple format. If you wish to partake in this tournament just sign up and the order you sign up will be your number. Myself and GD will then draw numbers to determine the order we will be picking teams. We will copy the NCAA format and do a single elimination tournament using 2K8. We can perhaps start this after our current league in hopes that roster updates will have been made by the great people of 2K. If no updates are in the near future then starting date can be adjusted. We would hope that this tourny could be knocked out in one week/weekend.

I suggest we cover this in a span of a couple days (1-3). To make sure it's not drawn out. I say we all start it on one night and finish at least 2 rounds. That's just my suggestion If you think of it, on draft nights we spend a good 2 plus hours, so if we spent a good 2 hours in a night, we can finish 1-3 rounds. =).

ATTENTION TO THE PATCH INFORMER:
Please let us know what you hear about NBA 2K8 patching the game with the recent trades like Ben W to Cleveland, etc. Thanks!

I might be in but with the baby and all I would rather put effort into getting one of these two news leagues up and running.

Thats nine legit teams with the Bobcats looking to be the best overall since they got 4 dudes in the 80s (Okefor, Richardson, Felton and Wallace) so I say we go with the other 8 since they basically suck more.

i say we try an experiment to keep things as random as possible since someone is going to get stuck with the remaining team that was less desirable than the ones chosen prior.

What if we did something like this:

we get 8 people
we nominate 8 teams
then we take the third letter of the person (numbers = letters so GD360 = "C") and put names in alphabetical order
then we take the third letter of each team name and put those teams in that alphabetical order (or reverse it to make it even more random)

whatever team is next to your name is who you roll with
the whole first come first serve thing just really only stands to benefit the guy who says "i'll go first" and then picks.

the idea is to make things interesting and play with some crappy teams for once and see how it all plays out so why not introduce a system that will make it even more interesting?

this is supossed to be a simple 1 game elimination tourny jajaja

i just created the tournament. it's one and done and 8 minutes hall of fame standard settings. everyone except ED got an invitation with the team that was randomly selected for them.
