Anything but Luva-BULL
Hate to say but we saw this coming a mile away. I took alot of heat for saying the Bulls weren't that good due to the fact that all we do are take Jump shots (just like BigWorm jajajaj) but fail to make them when we need them. Sure Noah and Thomas bring energy and hussle but that never translates into victories. Sure its early and we can still right the ship but untill we add a big man or a go to guy we will never be able to contend with the likes of Detroit - Cleveland - and now Boston........with a healthy Gilbert you can add washington to that list.
Atleast we still have our Luva-bulls

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
Kirt is not going to light it up nor should he be relied upon to do so. Think what would have happen if Stockton didn't have Malone. He would need to take more shots there for his % would drop and would have been a go to guy. Unfortionitly Kirt is no Stockton but he would benifit from haing another player either a Big man to dump it to or atleast another steady shooter to pass to. IMO Captin kurt is a ball hog that plays to hard at times. First quarter the game is tied 4-4 and he is apply heavy pressure so the refs call a foul.......trouble is he has played this way from day one and needs to learn that they all might not be fouls but the refs are gunna call it based on his reputaion. He signed a pretty nice deal so Jersey won't want him in return with 3yrs and 26Mill left or something like that. I still think he can be a good player on a good team but not a star ala Kidd - Nash - Williams. He's more suited to run an O and play good D

danza = nba analyst.
I like Kirk H. from what I see from him when the Bulls play the Knicks. He is a pass first point guard who plays pretty decent defense. Anyways, maybe he just having a down start to the season. All I know is, I would love to have this guy on the Knicks.

Take him he's all yours, add another over priced player jajaja Kirk is anything but a pass first PG. He constintly dribbles in circles and waits for Ben Wallace to get open then dumps it off to him lol he has his moments but over all he's not the type of PG who can carry a team when needed. He actually plays better when they move him to the 2gaurd and play Duhon at PG. But with Kirk and BG always in foul trouble its hard to get a grove.
Curry = Beast..............JamesOn that is (James + Leon = JamesOn)
Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
Precise, please take TD's words with a grain of salt. He always hates on the Bulls so he's not a real Bull guy. He's more of a Bear fan.
I on the other hand, I am a Bull Fan and I think Kirk has skillz. He has definitely hit a low this season and that can happen to anyone in sports....so I truly understand what he's going through. Some people say he is a ball hog, but what can you do if noone moves or gets open?? I'd like Kirk to always be a Bull. He embodies what this team is built around... Great Defense/Team Players (no All-Stars)....
Good to see a Knick fan appreciate a True-Bull player. Was nice to see he triple doubled in that game... While we are "cross-appreciating".... Balkman is the real deal.... He is like a cross between Joakim and Nocioni... He will be a cornerstone of the Knick one day... Balkmania is ALIVE!!

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
GD don't make me mention the years of 1999-2002 when a certian somebody was a fan of the greatest WNBA team the Sacramento Queens I am a huge Bulls fan, but a fan can not be blinded by his heart like i am with the bears. I praised Captin Kirt earlier but using your own words
"He embodies what this team is built around... Great Defense/Team Players (no All-Stars)....."
Team players yes, Great Defense..........that i am not sold on. I only hate on the bulls cause they didn't really do much to improve thier team from last season,
they added Noah who as most people think his type of player is a dime a dozen. Sure high energy might get the crowd into it and spark a little run but that wears out and history has proven that it dosen't win championships.
The replace PJ with Joe Smith - but still lack any inside game and a low post player. Good teams can get away with that (Bulls aren't a good team) - Lakers - Dallas - NJ come to mind as teams without a low post presence but are still good cause they can atleast penitriat and drive to the hole - another thing the bulls are lacking.
Yes Bulkmania is still alive, i think it replaced Hulkimania. We still had DSL $$$ on whether Bulkman or Noah would have a better season. Need to check stats cause i think both are doing not a whole lot

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
thats because our dumb@ss of a coach gives more playing time the Jared "I can't catch the ball" Jefferies than the better overall player in Balkman. This alone should have Isaih Fired!

Yeah buddy Chicagos own and pride of Memphis Derrick Rose..........DUDE IS GOOD. OJ Mayo is doing his thing at USC but Rose seems to have the body - talent and ability to step it up a notch. 1 year in college should help

Hudacris M3 wrote:The next gilbert arenas supposedly....but do we really need another shoot first PG?
Is Marbury in the last year on his contract? Crawford is more of a SG and Nate prob is best suited as a backup cause of his size. Do the Knicks have another PG???? Why the cut Dan Dicku i will never figure out
Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
The Knicks problem is that the wrong people are playing with each other. Too many duplicates. The entire starting roster is all offense no defense...and the 2nd unit is all defense no offense....and we wonder why we can never score in the 2nd quarter:
Well the knicks should be like this
Marbury - our best passer - second or 3rd option on offense
Fred Jones - plays defense and can score
Balkman - defends and blocks shots..energy
Randolph - rebounds and our first option on offense
Lee - rebounds and defends - energy
2nd Unit
Nate - 3 point shooter to be kicked out too from Jamals penetration...can also create
Crawford - second best passer and should be on the court with Curry
Q-rich - rebounds....still brick city...but defends
Jefferies - actually rebounds now and plays defense
Curry - with q-rich and jeffries around him...his rebounding deficiencies are less noticed

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
nice breakdown and i can now see why your team struggles lol
Randolph - Curry - Lee need to find room on the floor together but then you weaken the bench. Plus not to much D other then Lee. what a mess, wonder who Isiah will trade for next jajaja

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
I will be the first to admit when i'm wrong, and GD i was wrong. Team ball can get you a few wins in the NBA. look at how the Lakers beat our Bulls lastnight.
Kobe - 18pts 6rbs
Fisher - 10pts 5ast
Bynum - 12pts 10rbs (40min played)
Odom - 17pts 16rbs
Walton - 12pts 5ast
Leading them in scoring OFF THE BENCH was my boy Sasha Vujacic (under rated as a 65 by 2k) with 19pts..............6 players in double digits
Also note the following all had more rebounds then Ben Wallace:
Kobe
Bynum
Odom
FARMAR!!!!!
Ariza - tied BW with 5
Deng
Nocioni
GRAY!!!!
Thomas
Hinrich tied with 5
If wallace isn't rebounding why we paying him 15mil a season so that we play shorthanded 4 on 5. Its like a hockey game and we are always a man short
Its frustrating watching this team, cause we are off our game more then we are on it. We passed on KG and now Kobe all cause Paxson is to stubburn to make a deal. These are HIS guys that HE drafted so he wants to win or lose with HIS team. Swallow ur pride and make a move - your stuck with wallace and Deng is the only player other teams really want. Deng and Gordon are untouchable but seeing as we didn't resign either of them should have him in a panic. He won't sign any player to a contract that is untradable - and we know this as a fact cause he as stated it the past few years. He might have to with Deng but chances slim that both will return to the bulls in 08-09

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
saw the Bull vs. Lakers game last night.....it seemed as though Kirk was looking for his shot first rather than passing first.....
I guess it had something to do with Kobe tantalizing him on with his awesome fade-away. I love watching that guy play ball. Kobe = BEST baseketball player.

Re: Anything but Luva-BULL
hard to argue that.......Kirk is effective coming off the screen and popping up for the 12-15ft jumper, other then that the rest of his game is iffy. You also make a good point, Kirk is the PG but Kobe was able to gaurd him cause BG is small and Fisher was able to play him man to man. Bulls seem to lack size down low and in the back court.
Whats this i hear Isiaha asked for 2 weeks to turn things around, will he quit after 2 weeks if they still struggle?
