Does anyone even like this game?

Actually been playing it a lot with RawSugar, John MacTavish, Toran360 & Twelveralph...had a blast last night actually... It's different than COD4, I can't really compare them since the gameplay is totally different...

I'm finding mutual love for both... unfortunately majority of the DSL group is on COD 4... With Halo 3 I can play split screen with my wife, unfortunately I can't on COD4 though...I'm sure we would be playing it if it was possible...

I noticed in COD4 there is an option for slip screen. Is that to play a local game with two people like you could with R6? Haven't checked it out so just seeing if anyone else has. Have to agree with what Alex said in his other post. Lots of hype for Halo 3 but best game???? Halo series is like the IPod, once a fan always a fan FTW

JAJAJa TD, how can you agree if you NEVER played Halo 3? I really didn't think I would like it this much but after playing with a cool group of people it's been a blast...

Split screen on COD 4 is playing split screen deathmatch on one screen...like Goldeneye without the N64... Too bad they did not add this option... COD4 would have been even better with Coop Campaign and split screen!

Only reason i agree without even playing is cause i hardly see anyone playing it anymore or hardly hear anything about it on websites - forums - mags.....ect the game seemed to have died. It was hyped for so long and just like that its gone.....

Speaking of Halo 3 for those that have GH3 you can download a special track which is the theme for halo 3. I got it yesterday but have yet to check it out

yeah, it's not talked about much here, but there is a new Map pack coming out on Dec 11th.

The truth is Gamers have short attention spans. When a new game comes out, everyone hops off the current one and jumps on. This season there are sooo many games out it's really just a matter of what floats your boat...the list is huge: Halo 3, COD4, Assasin's Creed, Bio Shock, Mass Effect, Orange box, Guitar Hero 3, Rockband, etc... The Xbox 360 hasn't seen this many great games come out back to back like this! So it's a great time to be a 360 Owner!!

I like halo3 i also have cod4 which i like a lot too. my wife and i play halo3 together and if i am solo i will put in cod4, but i have to say that 2-3 yrs from now wich one will still have people playing it. with the addition of forge and custom matches easier to make i can predict that halo3's life is far from over. i do agree with GD though if cod4 had split screen online then i could probably get my wife to fall in love with it, but did'nt thay add split screen to Overloard by way of DLC. i may be wrong but if i were IW i would definetly be working on somthing like that.

Ouch you didn't mention 2K8 has GD seen the light and switched to EA jajaja Lots of good games and no time to play them. It is a shame, can only get so much done on the weekend and when i am able to play i'm either tired or not feelin up to it........But heck i paid good $$$ for these games so you gots to fidn the time

yeah, if they added that feature on COD4 that would be great! Will Rainbow 6 come along and knock both H3 and COD4 off? The "release date" of R6 Vegas 2 is said to be March 2008. To me that seems too soon, I have a feeling it's to get people excited but I am guessing they may bump it... Would be great to have it come out in March though! I thought that was the release date of the next Splinter Cell, would be weird to have Ubisoft come out with them in the same month...

Both Halo3 and COD4 are good games to me... I am getting my moneys worth for sure!

Gamers do got short attention spans but the good ones stick around. I would still be playing R6(at least until the next realistic shooter came out which was COD4) and Forza if it was not for my xbox breaking.

Halo is just too much running around and jumping. Take off the shields and the game would be better.

R6 is still nice, we need to do a retro night and break old games

R6 night should be held at least once a month for retro sake!! If anyone feels this is a moust start another post...After playing H3 and COD4, I'm already missing the cover system... We need to block a night for some Casino-Shooting-ACTION!

R6 is a game I kept...

Ralph and Toran360 seem to be what keeps most games alive and kicking. Once they got the red rings Forza went away and same with R6 hahaha Ralphy does rock out GH3 like a madman tho

Yes they give 1% activity on this website but 200% activity on the XBOX. Good point TDanza, even if they aren't on this forum, they are one of the cores of DSL...

honestly...i felt nauseous after playing Halo. People shooting me from every possible direction, and that crazy leaping ability was just not my type of style....Its games like Halo, why I initially never like FPS...I sold it 3 weeks ago for like $45

Halo = NOT SIM but yet GD supports it.....interesting

I hear ya Precise... Halo 3 is not for everyone, it's pretty off the wall with the Physics and jumping etc. Definitely nothing close to the Rainbow 6 experience we use to go through on R6 Vegas 2. I look forward to that game because DSL Definitely rocked on that... those were good times... Till then, look forward to fragging online with you on COD4... see ya tonight!

thanks to GD i will have the game untill the 31st of December jajaja hopefully will be able to jump on and get some beatzing in. Been sick as of late so not sure when that will be

i suck at most FPS - halo seemed to fast paced and unless you play with begginers or are the same skill level that game is not as fun. Offline story mode i will give a try to thou

well not a time from givin except for "as soon as possiable" its just getting annoying at this point i had an electrion come out and check the meeter box for us and there was no problem so they said they will get to us when they can.

theres no problem but yet you have no power.........seems like a small problem to me lol hopefully its all straighten out soon.....not that you dont love the extra time with your parents but as the old saying goes "theres no place like home" i should know.......i'm still at home with the folks jajaja
