Anyone else have interest in this game, or plan to pick it up and would want to join a league? So far we have the following

I've been a Red Sox fan since I was in diapers...so in other words all of about 2 and half years now.

Since we would be on 2k again we should step up and do a draft league. That way anyone of you all could wind up with Papi.

Ill take the Pirates only if there is an option to put players on roids during the game.

Yayo - I think the first lg we do should be real teams. Not sure how a fantasy draft in MLB would be. Alot of players but it could still be good times

I might be up for playing this... Yanks already taken... surprise ... (nice Avatar, btw)... are we only taking A.L. teams here or what? lol

I live in Utah, and therefore have no MLB team, but our local AAA team (Salt Lake Bees) are the farm for the Angels, so I could take them.

Haven't decided if I'm going to buy, but I have it near the top of my gamefly queue, and will probably try to 'arrange' it so that I get a copy at launch. and then I'll decide after that if I want to keep it.

of course the Yanks already taken man....but there's plenty of good teams left (mets, phillies, angels, etc...)

Yeah like the knicks the Yankee are another fan fav here in DSL.......You can take a N.L team if you wish but looks like so far only A.L fans are showing up. Salt lake Bees huh......u may know alittle about Bobby Jenks but not sure if he ever made it to the Angels AAA

i will be picking up the game.since my yanks are taken ill take the mets..... we could have a lil subway series in the lg. im always up for a good rivalry.

your right i should be ashamed of myself....but they are the 2nd best team i believe in the MLB behind the yanks..

well still got some time to decide. Game ships out 3-3-08 i think. If you order from Gamestop.com you get a free Jose Reyes Bobble head woo hoo

Maybe start a LG around April 1st? Give us all some time to play and get used to it......any ideas?

was playing Toran yesterday in NBA game...he said he's getting the game and wants the Cubbies. He also said Ralph is a baseball fan and should get the game but his xbox needs repair.

cool cool....that puts us at 5 or 6 total i think......i posted something on the 2K forum as well but not sure how that will work. Any clue on the minimum # of teams needed for a league? If we can roll with what we got i would prob still be all for it. Still got time so we good.

Also from what i read the game was released a week early last year so any word on when 08 will be out?

not sure about early release...but its due to come out next Tuesday, so the wait is not too long.

I'll roll with the amount of teams we have now as well....hopefully we have enough to start it off...

If your guy is a good SIM player then bring him in, I think you know the type of players that we look for. Having never done a LG in MLB we could prob use any help we can get jajaja.........

With that said, does anyone wanna run it or does that fall on me
