Isiah Thomas blamed the mean Knicks fans for his bypassing center Andrew Bynum in the 2005 draft for Channing Frye at No. 8. The Post reported at the time that Thomas, if Frye were off the board, would take Bynum (then 17), who dominated Eddy Curry yesterday with 13 points and 8 boards.
"The only reason why we didn't take Bynum was because of his age," he said. "Because of New York, our crowd. ... It would be tough on a 17-year-old here in New York. The two-year beat-down in New York, I didn't know if he would have enough to come back out of it." -- New York Post

To think the Knicks would be that much better with Bynum is pretty funny thou - almost as funny as trading Chucky Atkins and Caron Butler for Kwame Brown jajaja

hahaha actually that wouldn't be so bad. Skiles would be able to get some improvment but he is more of a D oriented coach. That would mean Randolph and Curry will either need to play D or sit thier a$$es on the bench.

I do think Skiles is a good coach for younger players that will buy into his ideas. Once they are in the league a few years the players seem to lose faith in his style cause it dosen't produce early and takes time. Almost like trying to run the Triangle, at first you hate it but after you get it down it may indeed be one of the best schemes to run

I watched that game...and unfortunatley that will be the last Knicks game I watch this season...seeing John Salmons single handedly have a career game against us made me sick...

Wilson only played cuz we're auditioning him to the kings that night. He's probably gone in a trade for Artest.

GD was first to hear about it then Huda and Cise but Bulls need to trade Ben Wallace for Eddie Curry.......Lasts night game was a good reason why, even with Wallace on the court we have no D so why not replace him with Eddie who can score.

Lastnights lost to the Knicks is a DISSapointment to all, barely beat the Queens and lose to the Knicks. Perhaps Derrick Rose will end up in chicago with the first pick of the 2008 draft.
