Re: New York Knicks Disscussion
tru tru but this team is just not clicking......maybe we needed sweetny and Maliek Allen to hold us together. Can't think if any other guys that are different from last year. Joe Smith replaced PJ Brown and Smith has been a beast as of late. Wish we had someone to go with him...........where's JRo when u need him
Re: New York Knicks Disscussion
Here's what JRo had to say about the knicks.....
3. New York Knicks -- When I play as them on the video game "NBA Live", they can compete against the Spurs, the Suns, or anyone. I know my PlayStation3. The Knicks are as good as anyone in that game.
On the court, success has been harder to come by. No one expected them to be contenders for the championship, but looking at this roster, you do think they could make the playoffs. If you look at the Eastern Conference, this is definitely a team that could finish .500.
But as it stands now, even with a 105-100 win in Chicago, the Knicks are still 9-24. In New York, situations are magnified. When you're not getting it done, the pressure is like another city, times 2. The Knicks are feeling that.
See GD PS3 is good for something after all jajaja

Re: New York Knicks Disscussion
So Yahoo released its nba power rankings and here is what they have on the knicks......
26. New York Knicks – Zach Randolph, immediately after beating Detroit Sunday: “We’re a great team.” Mike Breen, Knicks TV announcer: “Zach Randolph, obviously delirious…”
hahaha

Re: New York Knicks Disscussion
Seems the fans at Madison Square Garden aren't the only ones chanting "Fire Isiah." Executives from a handful of teams around the NBA are voicing similar sentiments following nearly a month of all talk and no action emanating from Manhattan.
Sources told ESPN.com that the New York Knicks have been one of the more active teams in trade discussions around the NBA. But team president and head coach Isiah Thomas has quashed numerous proposals put together by his top assistant, Glen Grunwald, mainly because of Thomas' reluctance to part with the two players other teams ask for the most, Jamal Crawford and David Lee.
One proposed deal would have sent Crawford and a cap filler (Malik Rose and/or Jerome James) to the New Jersey Nets for Vince Carter. Another would have sent Crawford and others to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a package built around Larry Hughes. A third deal, which was squashed by the Bucks, would have sent Zach Randolph to Milwaukee.

Re: New York Knicks Disscussion
if the Knicks ever acquired Vince Carter....i would no longer be a Knicks fans. I hate that guy so much, takes awful shots and is injury prone. I still watch all their games, but if he ever came, no more games for me.

Translation: Play Curry less minutes, give Robinson, Balkman and D-lee more playing time.

Re: New York Knicks Disscussion
you really have not watched any Knicks games if you want z-bo....the dude totally messes up the flow of the offense. I'll give you him and his large contract for nothing.
